I was a fat child and grew up to be a fat adult, the negative things my mother did to me as a child only made my self asteem less. Now as an adult I have had weight loss surgery and am on thyroid meds. Now I am on the outside a normal person. However the hurt that the negative things like this cause will be with me for the rest of my life. I was not lazy and I did not over eat, so it is very unfair to group all fat people together. My youngest son is heavy and that doesn’t mean I love him less, nor does it mean he is lazy or a glutton. I understand what Disney tried to do but they went to far in one direction, the stereo type of fat and lazy.
